Johnny and Carmen (Miguel's mother) are expecting a child. Season 5 leaves plenty of threads open to follow in the future, and all of them are good ones. Even Mike Barnes, who had his furniture story burned down, seems to be OK after taking a priceless painting from Silver's collection. Terry Silver, in full coked-up villain form, has a litany of charges to answer for, and seems headed for prison. In Cobra Kai Season 5, that's not the case: Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence, teamed up seemingly for good, come out on top. And then when those things are over, things tend to be in.not so great a place previous seasons have left off with main characters suffering grave injuries and our heroes explicitly losing to our villains. Carnahan only appears in 3 of the season's 10 episodes, but his presence is felt throughout the whole season. Throughout these flashbacks, he's played by a 28-year-old actor named Barrett Carnahan. In doing that, the show takes us back to his youth, showing how he was treated when he worked in a diner, and, eventually, his deployment as a soldier in the Vietnam War. Part of that wider net includes a look into what makes one of the Karate Kid universe's most reviling characters, Sensei John Kreese, tick. Season 3 of Cobra Kai has a lot going on-and it decidedly casts a wider net than any season before.
